Marine paintings by Judith Schuppien
Artist Reception Sunday, August 20, 3:00 - 5:00PM
The gallery feature several of Judith Schuppien‘s very authentic paintings of the Maine coast and marine industry. Judith grew up in the far downeast coastal town of Milbridge, then went on to art school at the prestigious University of Chicago. You will enjoy seeing how she interprets the natural beauty of the coast and the natives who derive their living from the sea.
Cathance River Gallery On the Road
The exhibit will consist of over 50 works of art done by members of the Cathance River Gallery Cooperative.
To be in place in Topsham Public Library's Crooker Gallery and the Community room from August 14 - September 6,

Bowdoinham woodworker and luthier featured at local art gallery
Mark C. Donovan is featured in his first art gallery exhibit this Memorial Day weekend at the Cathance River Gallery in Bowdoinham. The exhibit will take place Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 27 from 5 – 9 p.m., Saturday, May 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dan Warren’s art talk at the gallery yesterday, “Painting and Prayer,” was well attended. It was an interactive talk where the audience gave their thoughts about a recent painting of his of a women sitting by a window and gesturing with her hand. See the Article in the Portland Press Herald.
Grand Opening
On September 11 2021, Bill Stanton opened the Cathance River Gallery at the Knights of Pythias building in the village of Bowdoinham.
